Purple Lavender Field in Provence

Why a Purple Lavender Field Makes a Breathtaking Wallpaper

A purple lavender field in Provence stretches in neat, fragrant rows toward the horizon, filling the screen with soft violet colour and the calm of a summer afternoon, while the warm sunlight and gentle breeze make an ordinary desktop feel like a peaceful escape in the French countryside.

Flower Wallpaper lovers will find this purple lavender field pairs beautifully with other floral scenes in our collection, bringing calm violet tones and sunny warmth to any screen, and it looks just as lovely on a phone as on a large monitor.

Lavender has been grown in Provence for centuries for its fragrance, and its flowers are used in perfumes, soaps and sachets, while the plant is also known for attracting bees and butterflies to sunny gardens. The purple blooms are harvested in summer, when whole hillsides turn violet and the air fills with a sweet, calming scent that many people associate with relaxation and restful sleep.
