Rainbow Light Prisms Scattering on a Glass Wall

Why Rainbow Light Prisms Scatter Across a Glass Wall

This wallpaper shows rainbow light prisms scattering bright colour across a glass wall, turning plain daylight into bands of red, orange, yellow, green, blue and violet. Sharp edges and soft glowing patches give the picture energy and depth without feeling busy. It suits bright desks, creative studios and modern rooms, adding colour while keeping the screen fresh and easy to look at.

You will find this design in our Abstract Wallpaper collection, with more bright, colour-rich artworks for desktops, laptops and phones. From gentle light washes to bold prism patterns, the range suits creative workspaces, calm bedrooms and anyone who loves modern abstract art.

For the science behind the image, see the Wikipedia article on dispersion, which explains how rainbow light prisms split white light into colour when light bends through glass. Its vivid bands, seen in prisms and rainbows alike, still inspire photographers, designers and wallpaper makers today.
